Dark Star Cellars
You already know I love this place; Bev and I served their Ricordatti at our wedding party. Norm and Susan’s focus is on producing small lots of ultra-premium handcrafted red wines. One of Paso Robles best wineries. I am a wine club member here.

Edward Sellers Vineyards & Wines
Edward Sellers is an award winning boutique winery specializing in small lots of handmade American Rhone-style wines from Paso Robles, California. Although modeled after the great French wines from the Rhone River Valley in France, their ultra-premium wines speak distinctly of their progressive California Central Coast origins. The Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Roussanne & Viognier grapes grown for our wines are handpicked from the finest vineyards found on the calcareous rich hillsides of Paso Robles. Located right in the heart of town, nice tasting room.

Four Vines Winery
A hedonistic group led by winemaker Christian Tietje specializing in old vine Zinfandel, eclectic Rhônes and Spanish varietals...and let's not forget the Naked Chardonnay. Bikers, Anarchists, Heretics...oh my! All accompanied by pagan rituals and chocolate. Life is short. Come taste the edge. Hot wines…

L'Aventure
Coming from Bordeaux, Stephan Asseo “fell in love with Paso” in 1998 and has worked to craft the finest wines the wine field can give. The unique Westside terroir provides the foundation for his classical viticulture and artisan winemaking skills. The proof of his passion for quality lies in our estate grown “Paso blends.” Big Syrahs, with a wonderfully velvety finish.

Experience hand-crafted quality. Maloy O'Neill Vineyards is a small family-owned and operated vineyard and winery, specializing in premium hand-crafted wines produced in limited quantities. Great people! Great wines! Great views! I love their Hillside cabernets.

Pipestone Vineyards
Drive down the dirt road, and come to this quaint little winery. Notice the fire wood pizza pit out front? Come up on a big weekend and you can have a fresh pizza too. Tucked into a secluded peaceful valley in the coast ranges just ten minutes west of Paso Robles. Dedicated to hand-made estate grown Rhône-style wines (Syrah, Viognier and Grenache blend). Relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings or picnic on the patio. Family-run, sustainably-farmed, managed according to the ancient principles of Feng Shui! The only Feng Shui in Paso… or anywhere else!

Graveyard Vineyards
A very small producing winery doing only 1200 cases this year, but what Rob and Paula Campbell-Taylor, the owners and caretakers of Graveyard Vineyards did when they bought the beautiful hilltop property in 2003, was create wines that make you say- I want more! Priced very reasonably from $10 to $40 a bottle, these wines are to die for! Their winemaker, Jason Bushong, has done a great job developing wines that are truly a joy to drink. The two wines that really knocked my socks off were their basic house wines, each selling for $14 a bottle. The NV Paso Tombstone White and the NV Paso Tombstone Red. These wines are perfect everyday wines, that bring a lot of character and complexness to a $14 bottle of wine. I would serve these wines to the most critical of palates. On your next time through Pasto Robles, please stop and see Paula and enjoy their wines. You can even bring a fishing pole and catch some large mouth bass in their lake on their property!
